Pengurusan Aset Air Berhad (PAAB), the custodian of national water assets is wholly-owned by the Government of Malaysia through Minister of Finance Incorporated. PAAB's primary responsibility is to develop the nation's water infrastructure in Peninsular Malaysia and the Federal Territory of Labuan in line with the Water Services Industry Act 2006 (Act 655). We are looking for suitable and qualified candidates who are willing to accept the challenges and grow together with us in developing the Nation's water supply and sewerage infrastructures for the benefit of the public and country as a whole.
Civil Engineer (Water Supply) (Kuala Lumpur - Jln Munshi Abdullah)
Responsibilities:
Assist in preparation, check and review of civil design works in water supply projects; Assist in providing engineering support during study stage, design, construction, testing, commissioning and defect liability period of water supply projects; Assist in developing C&S drawings, technical specifications and bill of quantities for tender purposes; Compile and check the standards, specifications, technical reports and document submission to be used in the implementation of water supply projects.
Requirements: Recognized Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering; Registered with the Malaysian Board of Engineers; More than 5 years experience in civil design of water supply project/ water treatment plant; Conversant in preparing C&S drawings and related engineering documents including tender documents; Familiar with the government procedures on the approval of planning and design works; Able to liaise with relevant local authorities & consultants; Computer literate and knowledge on usage of Ms Office package, familiar with AUTOCAD, Ms Project, structural design software would be an added advantages; Able to work minimum supervision and good in technical report writing; Proficient in spoken and written in both Bahasa Malaysia and English; Very determine personality, good interpersonal and leadership skills; Must be highly motivated and able to work as a team.
