Due to business growth, our Ship Design subsidiary – Wartsila Ship Design Singapore Pte. Ltd. (100% owned by Wärtsilä Corporation) has immediate openings for the following position:

Senior Engineer, Mechanical & Piping
(Johor)

Responsibilities:

To assist Section Manager to execute marine mechanical design scope
To lead and check Junior Engineer’s calculations and drawings
To perform basic design (class drawings) for Piping Systems and arrangement of machinery spaces
To liaise with clients for technical issues
To ensure drawings meets contractual classification and statutory requirements

Requirements:
Relevant Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Marine Engineering etc. Minimum 5 years experience in similar position Good knowledge of classifications rules and regulations and Good knowledge with internal combustion engine knowledge, auxiliary and ancillary marine equipment and Ship Piping System Design
